Romans 4:17,20-21:
“…in the presence of the God in whom he believed,the one who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist….
He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 because he was fully convinced that what God had promised, he was also able to do.”
Has God given you a Word about a dead situation in your life?
Perhaps you are seeking Him for a breakthrough in your finances? Or in your work situation? Whatever is dead and lifeless- if He has promised it will be the very place where you will be fruitful, you can believe Him for that! You don’t need to seek a human hand to fulfill His promise!! What He says He will do, He will- in His way and in His time.
What can your attitude and mine be during the time of waiting? Abraham, the Bible says, did three things: He did not waver in unbelief, he was strengthened in faith and lastly He gave glory to God.
It was a God sized dream for Abraham and Abraham knew it was rightful on his part to accord all glory to God for that.
This morning as I think about the dreams and visions God has breathed into my soul, I am refreshed knowing that He will do what He has promised. All I need to do is sit back in total surrender and willingness as He weaves them into fulfillment.
Prayer
Heavenly Father I am so in awe today thinking through what You have planned for my life. You are amazing, your promises are yes and amen. I can trust You against all odds. Even in the deadness of all that I am facing in the very area You said You will do something no eye can see nor any heart conceive! So I raise my hands in awe and surrender to You those dead and lifeless parts. I choose to hope and to believe that You will do what You said You will. In Your precious Name, amen.
